Horseback Riding

Our riding gets into the heart of Patagonia and allows you to discover & enjoy  breath-taking sceneries; high summits &  the  imponent argentinian-chilean mountain range . The ride will offer you the opportunity to get in touch with millenarian  forests , picturesque streams and gorgeous lakes. These lands seem   never ending....and belong to the  Mapuches’(original settlers). People from Cheuquel community will be our “baqueanos” (local guides)  during our whole adventure and will show us all their land & culture...

We leave from Pino Hachado and ride for 3 hours. At midday we stop for lunch & a rest and then we continue up to our refuge.

When we get to camp we will light a fire and share long long hours drinking “MATE”, chatting, playing the guitar & listening interesting stories from  our “baqueanos”.

Every night we will sleep “al sereno” (outdoors) enjoying the stunning sky full of  shooting stars.

The  very difficult access to this amazing area will allow you to be the only one around, giving you the chance to enjoy it to the fullest!.

After finishing the riding we will trekk up to a  rock wall where you can practise rappelling and rock climbing surrounded by a beautiful wood.
 

All the activities are coordinated & supervised by professional mountain guides EPGAMT,  ski patrols rescuers AAPS & Rescuers  CSE, with more than 10 year experience in our country.
